Huipil Crescent Bag - Patzun Flowers 5 ***SOLD***

A large handbag size bag with a wide shorter strap, the crescent bag tucks nicely under your arm. Our crescent bags are made from huipils or women's shirts from the Mayan village of Patzun. Patzun huipils are beautifully embroidered with flowers on a handwoven cotton dark red striped fabric. The neck of the huipil forms an unlined outside pocket on the front of the bag and there is a small zippered pocket inside. I particularly like the white accent embroidered to imitate lace on this bag. There is some wear in the embroidery around the neck. Size 13 1/2" x 10" not including the strap.
