Huipil - Peace Bag 3 ***SOLD***

Denim woven by hand on a foot loom, patched on the back and the front under the flap with woven patches from Mayan women's skirts or cortes, and on the front flap a large peace symbol made from patches cut from hand woven and embroidered huipils and cortes. This is quite a large bag 15" x 13" , fully lined with a large pocket under the flap and a zippered pocket on the back. The flap closes with velcro, the top is zippered and the strap is adjustable. This peace bag is really unusual because there is a vintage heavily embroidered section that runs right around the three sides of the bag portraying flowers and fruits
