Huipil - Pocket Bag Chickens and Roses

Huipil bags are made from the beautifully handwoven and embroidered blouses or huipils worn in the traditional Mayan villages. Each is one-of-a-kind. You can use it like an external pocket to carry your necessities. It comes with a tag explaining its origin. This one is from a well worn huipil and is beautifully soft, some of the embroidery has been rubbed away with use. There is a border of r8ses and flowers at the top and then rows of traditional Mayan motifs including a row of chickens below. Zippered close, size 9" x 6 1/2"
