Huipil Bag - Joyabaj Triangle ***SOLD***

This bag has an inside zippered pocket and closes with a patch of velcro. It is made from a huipil or shirt from the Mayan town of Joyabaj in the Guatemalan highlands. As you can see in the photo, this is from an older worn textile and there are lots of wear patches in the embroidery. The fringe at the bottom is knotted. Size 14" wide x 9 1/2" high not including the fringe or strap.
