Huipil Bag - Small Square Chichicastenango Bird Mosaic ***SOLD***

This bag was made by the Mayans, recycled out of the beautiful hand-woven and embroidered traditional clothing known as huipils. Each village has a unique style of embroidery. I have a pair of thesebeautiful bright little bags with embroidery in great condition showing a mosaic of designs and symbols from the Guatemalan Mayan town of Chichicastenango. The bag comes with a tag explaining its origin and the town that it's from. Size 9 1/2" x 8 1/2" not including the fringe.
