Huipil - X Large Joyabaj Market Bag Black 1 ****SOLD***

A really roomy bag made from a Mayan woman's huipil or shirt. There is a large outside pocket covered in a button down flap and a long 3 1/2" wide strap for comfort. It zippers closed.The back and the strap are made from hand woven ikat cloth.
Every Mayan village has it's own style of weaving and embroidery and women take great pride in their clothing. This one is from the town of Joyabaj. Size 16 1/2" x 13"
