Round Huipil Cushion - Violets on Aqua ***SOLD***

This throw pillow cover is made from a Mayan woman's huipil, or blouse. It is embroidered on a silky embroidered eyelet textile in light aqua with circles of violets around the the center, which would have been the collar of the shirt. The ikat fabric on the back of the pillow is made from a traditional skirt or corte. The pillow comes with a tag explaining it's origin. This pillow is one-of-a-kind. When it's gone, it's gone. Size 20" diameter with a back zipper.
