Mayan Huipil Pillow - Pattern 10 ***SOLD***

This throw-pillow cover is made from a Mayan woman's huipil, or blouse. It is covered in an intricate embroidered pattern which if you look closely features stylized birds The surrounding fabric is made from a traditional skirt or corte hand-woven with an ikat design. The pillow comes with a tag explaining it's origin. It has a zippered back and takes an 18" x 18" insert.
